Children and Young People are an important part of our church community.
On at least one Sunday a month we meet for worship with the whole church in a service for all ages. During the monthly ‘Haven Service’ children and youth join with the adults to try activities, and bring their own hobbies to share with others. On other Sundays, children and young people leave the service after about twenty minutes for age appropriate groups. Details of other opportunities for families and young people (‘Rooted’ and ‘Worship in the Woods’) can be found below.
Safeguarding all members of our church community is of the highest importance to us.
Before leaving under 18’s in the care of our leaders, parents will be asked to fill in consent forms, and be made aware of our procedures. Our Designated Person for Safeguarding is Rachel Settatree. More information on Safeguarding will be added to our website soon.

Rooted Hub meets on Friday afternoons from 1.45-3pm at Bethesda Baptist Church Hall in Haverfordwest.
It offers a space for those in Yr 7-13 to chat, to explore who they are, why they matter, the difference Jesus makes… and eat snacks, of course!

We started Worship in the Woods as restrictions started to lift during the Covid 19 pandemic, and we loved it so much, we’re going to try to keep going!
We met monthly in a local wood to be inspired to worship and fun by the world we live in. We hope to publish new dates for our next meetings soon.
What can fungi teach us about community?
How can we be more like trees as we follow Jesus?
These are a couple of the questions we’ve loved exploring as we’ve learnt about the world we live in and the God behind it all.
Wellies and coats are a must (we meet all year round), and all children and young people (with their grownups) are welcome!
